For something vague or an idea, use the neuter esto, eso, aquello: ¿Qué es esto? = What's this?
- Nuestra casa está al lado de ese parque.Our house is next to that park.
- ¿Estas llaves son tuyas? – No, son de Marta.Are these keys yours? – No, they're Marta's.
