Ir a + infinitive: the near future
Voy a comer: plans and intentions.
The most common way to talk about the future in everyday speech: ir (conjugated) + a + infinitive.

Useful time expressions: mañana, pasado mañana (the day after tomorrow), la semana que viene, el año próximo, esta noche.
- Este verano vamos a viajar a México.This summer we're going to travel to Mexico.
- Está nublado; va a llover.It's cloudy; it's going to rain.
