The imperfect subjunctive: hablara / hablase

Formed from the preterite, and the sequence of tenses.

Take the ellos form of the preterite, remove -ron and add -ra, -ras, -ra, -ramos, -rais, -ran (or, more formally, -se, -ses…).

My mother asked me to call her.
  • No creía que fuera tan difícil.
