The conditional: hablaría
Polite requests, advice, wishes and guesses.
Infinitive (or the irregular future stem) + -ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían.

- politeness: ¿Podría ayudarme? = Could you help me?
- wishes: Me gustaría ir a Cuba. = I'd like to go to Cuba.
- advice: Yo que tú, hablaría con él. = If I were you, I'd talk to him.
- guess about the past: Serían las tres cuando llegó. = It must have been about three when he arrived.
- ¿Te importaría cerrar la puerta?Would you mind closing the door?
- Deberías descansar más.You should rest more.
