- 1 El pasado simple (past simple) -ed, los verbos irregulares y «did» para preguntas y negación.
- 2 El past continuous (was / were + -ing) «Estaba haciendo…» y la acción interrumpida.
- 3 El present perfect (have + participio) Se parece al pretérito perfecto… pero no se usa igual.
- 4 Cuantificadores: some, any, much, many, a lot of, a few, a little Contable o incontable, afirmación o pregunta.
- 5 Comparativos y superlativos -er / -est o more / most, better / best, as… as, than.
- 6 El futuro: will, going to, presente continuo Tres formas de hablar del futuro, y «when» + presente.
- 7 Los modales: must, have to, should, mustn't, don't have to Obligación, prohibición, ausencia de obligación y consejo.
- 8 Los pronombres de objeto y el orden de las palabras me, him, her, us, them después del verbo: «Te quiero» = I love you.
- 9 Los adverbios: -ly y el lugar de los adverbios de frecuencia quick → quickly, good → well, y «I often go» (no «I go often»).
- 10 Verbos y adjetivos + preposición listen to, wait for, depend on, good at, interested in: preposiciones que no se traducen palabra por palabra.
- 11 Verbo + -ing o verbo + to I enjoy swimming, I want to swim, I like swimming / to swim.
