La coma
- Comma splice (error): dos oraciones completas unidas solo por una coma: «
It was late, we went home.» → It was late, so we went home. / It was late; we went home. - Coma de Oxford: coma antes de «and» en una enumeración (red, white, and blue): habitual en EE. UU., opcional en el RU. Sé coherente.
- Después de una subordinada al inicio: If you need help, call me. Pero no delante de «that»: He said that…
