La voz pasiva
be + participio, by, y el «se» o la 3.ª persona plural traducidos por una pasiva.
Formación: be (en el tiempo necesario) + participio. El agente se introduce con by.
| Tiempo | Activa | Pasiva |
|---|---|---|
| presente | They make cars here. | Cars are made here. |
| pasado | Someone stole my bike. | My bike was stolen. |
| present perfect | They have sold the house. | The house has been sold. |
| futuro | They will build a bridge. | A bridge will be built. |
Pasiva con dos objetos
El inglés puede convertir a la persona en sujeto de la pasiva, algo imposible en español: I was given a present (me regalaron algo), She was offered the job (le ofrecieron el puesto).
