Adverbs: -ly and the position of frequency adverbs
quick → quickly, good → well, and «I often go» (not «I go often»).
Forming adverbs with -ly
Most adverbs of manner: adjective + -ly: slow → slowly, careful → carefully, easy → easily. Irregular: good → well, fast → fast, hard → hard (hardly = almost not!).
Frequency adverbs
