Greek grammar

  1. 1 The genitive case: possession του φίλου, της πόλης, του σπιτιού: «of» and «'s» in Greek.
  2. 2 Object pronouns: με, σε, τον / μου, σου, του Short pronouns for direct and indirect objects, and where they go.
  3. 3 Possessives: μου, σου, του… and δικός μου Possession with the short genitive pronouns after the noun, and the emphatic δικός.
  4. 4 The future: θα γράφω and θα γράψω θα + verb, and the two kinds of future: continuous and simple.
  5. 5 The simple past (aorist): regular verbs Έγραψα, διάβασα, μίλησα: stem change, the augment έ- and stress on the third syllable.

  10. 10 The imperative Γράψε / γράφε, μίλα / μίλησε: commands, and μην for negatives.
  11. 11 Comparatives and superlatives πιο + adjective, the -τερος forms, από, and the superlative ο πιο / -ότατος.
  12. 12 Verbs in -ομαι: έρχομαι, κάθομαι, θυμάμαι The medio-passive endings, including many everyday verbs with active meaning.
