Greek verbs are listed in the dictionary in the first person singular (γράφω = I write), because Greek has no infinitive.

  • Μένω στην Αθήνα και δουλεύω σε μια τράπεζα.
    I live in Athens and work in a bank.
  • Τι διαβάζεις; – Διαβάζω μια εφημερίδα.
    What are you reading? – I'm reading a newspaper.
