The gerund: γράφοντας, μιλώντας
An invariable form meaning «while / by doing».

It expresses an action that happens at the same time as the main verb, or the manner / means: Έμαθα ελληνικά βλέποντας ταινίες = I learnt Greek by watching films.
- Μπήκε στο δωμάτιο χαμογελώντας.She came into the room smiling.
- Μιλάει στο κινητό οδηγώντας.He talks on the phone while driving.
